Air Fryer – We use a Cosori air fryer which can hold 2 mini pot pies.

Aluminum Foil – This helps protect the crust from burning while cooking.

How to make frozen pot pie in air fryer

Step one: Remove the frozen pot pie from the box. Cover the top of the frozen pie with aluminum foil to protect the pie crust from burning. Depending on the size of your air fryer and the pot pie, you can cook one or two at a time.

Step two: Air fryer for 25 minutes at 400 degrees F. Carefully remove the foil off the top of the pies. Cook another 5 minutes at 400 degrees F to allow the crust to brown.

Step three: Carefully remove the pot pies from the air fryer basket and serve hot.

How long to cook a frozen pot pie in the air fryer?

Cook time may vary depending on the size of your frozen pot pie. The small, 8 oz Marie Callender’s pot pie will take a total of 30 minutes to completely cook while a larger 16 oz pie will take about 40 minutes.

  • This cooking time is for the small frozen pot pies, either 10 ounce or 7 ounce. The larger, 16 ounce pies will need a little longer cook time, about 40 minutes.
  • These cooking directions include chicken, beef, turkey, or vegetable pot pies.
  • If you want to make sure your pot pie is completely cooked, check with a cooking thermometer. The internal temperature should be 165 degrees F.
  • Be careful when removing the pie from the air fryer basket. The foil pie tin will be hot.
