How about: "What's the Manual 'J-8' load calculation load for heating and cooling?"Thanks. I meant that the internal parts numbers are all the same. I was looking for the Bryant model number to the Payne furnaces I mentioned. The installer is cert. Bryant/Carrier I want to have some pointed questions for him when he gives me quotes.
Why are you specifying Payne if you're a Bryant dealer?
Have I seen all of the models so I can compare features and benefits and decide on what's appealing to me so I can then compare investments to see which product I'd like?
What are the manufacturer's warranties and what are the implications of differences between Payne and Bryant?
Are my ducts properly sized for the job?
You might also like to address why is the coldest room in the house in winter the coldest room? Why is the hottest room in the summer the hottest room?
Have you tested the static pressure of the existing installation? Are there any concerns about high or low static?
Why have you not discussed indoor air quality with me? Why should I consider or not consider an electronic air cleaner, humidifier or ultraviolet light?
Should I consider having a ERV or HRV installed with my furnace?
If YOU want change, YOU have to first change.
If you are waiting for the 'other guy' to change first, just remember, you're the 'other guy's' other guy. To continue to expect real change when you keep acting the same way as always, is folly. Won't happen. Real change will only happen when a majority of the people change the way they vote!
